Bloggers Having Fun in Downtown Nelsonville

Part of our class stayed at the church to make carrot muffins for the camp morning snack.

The rest of us went to the grocery store for ingredients.

And then visited the art classes around the square to take pictures. Then we took pictures on the square in Nelsonville.

Nelsonville is known for its Star Brick manufacturing. Then we looked at the signs and logos at some of the places where our artists exhibit or where our art classes are held around the square.
Painting in the basement here at Starbrick Gallery which was founded by one of our artists, Ann Judy. While we stopped to take photos of the class, we also browsed the gallery and looked at paintings, ceramics, knitted items and more work from artists in the area.

The ceramics class is held in the Hocking College Art Gallery on the Square.

Home to Circle Round the Square, Paper Circle, directed by our founder, Barb Campagnola, is where paper making classes are held this summer.

Majestic Galleries is next to the Hocking Art Gallery space and was founded by one of our artists, Aaron Smith.

The Rutter Rentals building is where Aaron's marionette class is held. The music video classes and the costume department are here too. We'll visit them tomorrow.
